Super Pixel Man

Super Pixel Man is a minimalist platformer. Run and jump across small levels and avoid hazards to reach the end.

This game is keyboard-only (or touch screen buttons if on mobile) :

• A - Left Arrow : Move Left
• D - Right Arrow : Move right
• Spacebar - Up Arrow : Jump
• Escape : Pause

You need to reach the end of the level marked by a yellow square, while avoiding red squares.

If you lose, you go back to the start of the level, unless you chose hard mode, in which case you have to start from level 1.

You can restart a level by going to pause and select "Retry" (doing this in hard mode will restart to level 1).

Here are the keyboard controls for navigating the user interface :

• Up Arrow - Down Arrow : Select Next/Previous
• Spacebar - Enter : Press

This game is a fan-made recreation of an obscure platformer game titled Pixel Man. It was released on the Xbox 360 by Super Gravelyn Bros, but me and my brother remembered playing it on my old Nokia Lumia 520 (Windows Phone) when we were little.

After a bit of research, we found the name of the game and I started looking for a way to download it. Of course, it was impossible to find. 

Even worse, videos about the game are rare, more than 15 years old, and most of them only showcase the demo version which features only 10 levels. Only one video features 20 out of the 30 levels the original game had.

My goal with this project is to make something close to the original and fun to play, while adding new elements that fit and stay faithful to the source material.

This first version includes all 10 levels from the demo version, while the next version will add the next 10 missing levels.

One feature that isn't part of the original game for this version is hard mode, which provides a more challenging gameplay experience.
